This article is amazing. I can relate to the designer’s issues really well, but seeing the other side of the conversation is eye-opening. It’s so interesting to see how they go about conflict-resolution/aggression/standard-setting. The approach of hiring multiple designers at once to design a project, and setting prepaid milestones…all this is stuff I’ve never heard of.
For all my experience, I’m still an utter noob.
Mad respect for Stephen (the designer).
