All the cool shit from CES

These are glass panel speakers. 0_0

earphones that adjust to the shape of your ear

The idea is that you take a picture and you adjust the focus/lighting afterwards. This is for sure one of the inventions of the year.

sweet pen mouse thing

these are speakers!

intel decided to plaster their display with ultrabooks. This is the future I guess.

Touch screen that senses proximity!

this was the sickest booth of them all. It was literally a village.

That sliver that you can’t see? Yeah that’s an OLED TV from the side. mind blown

So shiny

Transparent LED display. Sooo cool.

TESLA

Wirelessly powered everything is the future.

The lady at the booth was super cheeky to me. She acted like I didn’t know anything, probably because I look too young for the average CES-goer. These 3d printers are revolutionary because of their price. They make rapid prototyping truly affordable for small startup product designers.

Car sized ipod speaker. Yes, really.

The picture quality is kinda ridiculous. They had a live demonstration with some “newlyweds”, and the pictures were displayed on a giant screen. SO DETAILED. The lighting was perfect too. It looked photoshopped I swear.

Giant ass 3d wall of TVs.

Craaaazy comfortable unorthodox looking mouse.

They had some of the sickest PC setups on display ever.

The touchscreen control panel in a Tesla!

CNET live broadcast!!

Audi’s pulsing glowing white box of a booth. Freaking amazing.

Overall, CES was a blast. I saw some amazing technology. On the last day for me I actually got kinda jaded from seeing all the same technology in different cases and marketing packages, but looking back, it was really amazing to see the convergence of so many different companies on different technologies. For sure OLED TV’s are the next big thing. Connected homes are going to be a big area of expansion in the near future, and the TV will be the hub of that. Laptops are moving towards ultraportable solutions, and tablets are becoming viable solutions for day-to-day computing. Wireless power is another big thing, like I mentioned.
